Atlanta: The Home of Variety Entertainment

Our very first program emerged in the Atlanta marketplace in 1974. In the past 34 years, the Atlanta restaurant scene has undergone numerous changes, and Variety Entertainment has seen them all.

History

The program began with the former President and founder, Marilyn Kulp, who saw the need for an effective advertising medium for Atlanta restaurants. She also recognized the demand of the dining public for an incentive to get out and try new restaurants. The success of the past three decades has been proven by Variety Entertainment’s popularity: it continues to please Atlanta diners as well as the restaurants that participate in the program. Some of the earliest restaurants in the program, such as Applebee’s, Longhorn Steakhouse, and Chili’s, all started with Marilyn as a supporter.

Our Mission

We strive to provide the Variety Entertainment customer with a memorable dining experience, while concurrently providing our restaurants with an effective, affordable promotional medium that inevitably results in increased exposure for your business. We believe that both of these factors play a key role in the overall success of the Atlanta dining scene.
